| Descripción de la Oferta: | Mechanical Engineer HP Barcelona site has the charter for the development of leading-edge large format inkjet printer products, for a broad range of markets and needs worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals, as well as for recently graduated engineers, who are interested in developing a career in an international environment. These professionals will interface with partners from all over the world, working towards common and technically challenging objectives. Responsibilities: - Research and development of mechanical systems for large format inkjet printers. - Responsibility for the specification, architecture, prototyping, design, build, and verification in the area of his/her responsibility. - Responsibility for all phases of development, from concept generation, to design and release, to manufacturing. Specific duties would include part/systems design, analysis and debug, prototype builds, scheduling and planning, cost tracking and documentation. - Facilitation of work with engineering partners internal and external to HP. - Participation in the specification, design, and documentation of processes for system testing, qualification, and process improvement, working closely with the Quality Assurance and manufacturing teams. |

| Requisitos mínimos: | Job Requirements: - MSc, BSc or Ingeniero Superior in Mechanical Engineering and willing to focus on research and development of new products through new idea generation and a balance between theoretical modeling and experimental data. - Although not a requirement, previous experience in one of more of the following technical areas will be valued: - Servo mechanisms design, testing, and verification, including integration of mechanics, electronics and firmware. - High precision paper handling mechanisms. - Structure design and calculation, including FEA, modal analysis, test and verification. - Fluid mechanics and thermodynamics. |
