Funciones:
1. Prepares and conducts IT user familiarization training for supported staff, as directed.
2. Designs and develops IT training courses for newcomers, intermediate and advanced levels as directed.
3. Develops elementary, intermediate, and advanced courses for issued software packages.
4. Operates and maintains the training LAN. He/she will maintain the training facility environment and ensure the equipment is mission-capable. Depending on frequency of use and training requirements, some services may not be readily available. In this case, he/she will advise the supervisor.
5. Updates course material as software and requirements change.
6. Provides trouble-shooting and customer assistance in Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Operating System Applications.

Se requiere:
He/she shall possess a NATO Security Clearance or he/she shall be able to obtain one -nationality of one of the 28 NATO member nations-. Please, do no send your CV if you don´t fulfill the above mentioned requirements.
It is essential, in order to provide training and to give user assistance and trouble-shooting, possessing the following credentials (one or the other):
- The Microsoft Office Specialist -MOS- -Master Instructor- certification allows identifying skilled professionals who can deliver training on Microsoft Office suite.
- The new Microsoft Certified Application Specialist -MCAS- credential is a globally recognized standard that validates skills with the 2007 Microsoft Office system as well as with the Windows Vista Operating system. It is the successor of the MOS credential.

It would be highly desirable to possess:
- The Microsoft Certified Learning Consultant -MCLC- Credential/Microsoft Certified System Engineer -MCSE- allows identifying skilled professionals who can design, develop and deliver consultative learning solutions based on Microsoft technologies and products.
- Knowledge in LAN architecture and system administration to manage interrnal training LAN as well a general background in lecturing and/or groups instruction.
